Do's and Don't's of Renting
Often renting an apartment involves a mixture of emotions. At times the rental unit is not maintained properly. It is also difficult to decorate according to your own taste - furniture, kitchen and other decorative items. Every year or two the grueling process of moving repeats itself as well as the expenses of moving, packing and damages which may occur from the move.
The pros of renting a place are the mobility to transfer from place to place, moving without the worry of selling as well as the fact that the renters do not have to deal with damages that occur in the apartment. For example, pipes bursting, wear and tear of closets, tiles chipping and all else that is included in the contract.
Renting can also be good when you are unsure if the community is the right one for you and you want to check it out. So under some circumstances renting is a good option when checking out a neighborhood and only a few years later to make a decision if you want to buy in that area.
